We are now able to welcome you back for drinks in the garden and food from our Smokehouse trailer for eat in or takeaway
(Drinks from 12 noon - food 4pm - 7pm)
- We are not taking bookings due to restrictions at this time. (You can book for Sundays)
- We are offering our smoked meats Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 4pm till 7pm from our food trailer.
- We will also have the trailer open Saturday lunch time and 4pm till 7pm Saturday night.
- All food is self service from our food trailer. Social distancing line up at the food trailer.
- Sundays is Sunday roast as normal from our kitchen served 12 till 4pm with waiter/waitress service. To be eaten outside. You can book for Sundays.
- You must check in on the NHS app or get staff to write your details down and you must stay seated in order to be served.
- Just turn up and take a seat we will be with you as soon as possible.
We understand it’s all a bit crazy right now we’re feeling it too.
We appreciate your support and we plan to open our kitchen fully in May.

How it will work at the White Hart under latest guidelines.
As I’m sure you can imagine the logistics of this are just as hard for us as they are you. Some of our staff will be on furlough until the weather gets better and we get busier, so please be patient. Our staff's new job roll includes a lot more running around than normal. It’s going to be hard graft so please BE KIND.
You can sit in our garden or under our cover if you are eating. If you are just drinking please ask our staff if the undercover area is available before sitting down.
Track and trace is now a thing - it’s got to be done! Please if you can’t do it ask our staff to write your details in our safe postbox.
Drinks
No ordering apps here - we prefer human contact. Staff members will come to you to take any orders for drinks. We will not be running tabs outside at this stage. We hope everyone understands why.
We will be running a smaller drinks menu, just in case we have to go back to lock down . We really don’t want to have to drink it all again 😂
We have chosen for the moment to only offer ale in bottles. Ales are just not our customers base. It may not be busy enough to keep it good, keep it turning over and we could possibly end up not selling it and we just can’t justify throwing it away.
We will have Guinness as we have a lot of stout drinkers.
The Maltsmith IPA will be making a come back as we get busier, followed by local ales and ciders.

Food
We will be using our smokehouse trailer for eat in or takeaway. No preorders you can just turn up. Please follow social distancing advice.
Cash is preferred due to the location of the trailer and lack of WiFi. Payment for food will be taken at the trailer. It’s self service you just go up and order off the menu. This is temporary while outside and will not apply on a Sunday.
Sunday lunch will be served by waiting staff from the kitchen.
This type of service is helping us massively as it’s cutting costs and keeping our staff on furlough until we can open under less restrictions. We thank you for your support and understanding.
If you need to use the toilets please don’t take drinks inside and please wear a mask while doing so.
Please use the sanitiser available.
Everything we have done we are genuinely thinking of you and our White Hart family.
We really appreciate every chip sold. We know it’s not ideal but we’re still here and we really want to thank you for your support. Hopefully things will be less restricted soon and we can go back to how pubs should be.
We miss you all sitting at the bar and we can’t wait to see you soon.
